 Q1 - Is there a dress code?

 A1 - There is not a dress code for WOF events, but most guests choose business or cocktail casual.


 Q2 - What are the differences between ticket types for the Grand Tasting?

VIP $195

• VIP admission is limited to 150 guests and includes one commemorative Glencairn glass and one hour early entrance at 6:30 pm.

• VIP hour pours of ultra-premium, fine, expensive, and rare spirits (details available on the event website).

• One $50 retail voucher for purchases and special orders placed on Friday, March 31, 2017 during the Whiskey Obsession Festival grand tasting.

• Greater opportunity to interact with distillery ambassadors and industry professionals.

• Unlimited tasting of over 250 spirits.

• Seating as available at small group seminar classes ($20 per person; first come first served).

• Wine, soft drinks, buffet and hors d' oeuvres. 

 

General Admission $95:

• General admission is limited to 500 guests and includes one commemorative Glencairn glass and entrance at 7:30 pm

• Unlimited tasting of over 200 spirits.

• Seating as available at small group seminar classes ($20 per person; first come first served).

• Wine, soft drinks, buffet and hors d' oeuvres.

 

Companion $45:

• Companion admission is limited to 75 guests and includes entrance with VIP or general admission ticket holders.

• Wine, soft drinks, buffet and hors d' oeuvres.

 

Q3 - Can Companions Enter with VIP ticket holders at 6:30 pm?

 A3 - Yes!

 

Q4 - Is there a cost for the classes on Friday night during the Grand Tasting?

 A4 - Yes, In order to avoid any empty seats, we have added a small admission fee to encourage guests to honor their reservation commitment.  This cost is only $10 for VIP guests and $20 for General Admission and Companion ticket holders.  Our distillers and ambassadors are flying in from all over the country to share their knowledge and passion, and we want to make sure that they have the best experience possible.

 

Q5 - Is food included?

 A full five course seated dinner is served at The Glenmorangie Experience Grain vs.   Grape Dinner and the Super VIP Panelist Dinner.

Light bites and hors d’oeuvres are served at the Panel of Whiskey Experts.

Lunch is served at the Friday Lunch Master Classes.

Full buffet dinner is served at the Grand Tasting.

Cash sales at food trucks/ street vendors will be available at the Whiskey Rocks.

 

Q6 - Do I need to bring my ticket with me?

A6 - Bringing your printed ticket will speed up admission for everyone, but we have detailed guest lists.

 

Q7 - Do you have a recommended hotel for out of town guests?

A7 - Yes!  Aloft Sarasota: http://www.aloftsarasota.com.

Q8 - Are there tickets available at the door?
A8 - Most of our events sell out, so early registration is encouraged.  Door sales only as available on the day of each event.  All online ticket sales end at 12:01 a.m. on the day of the event, meaning the last day to buy online is the day before for all tickets.
